Researchers are refining recipes for biochar that benefits industry and the environment

Scott Chang and Christopher Nzediegwu (both ALES) are optimizing processes to create a versatile product made from agricultural and forestry waste, with uses ranging from reclaiming wastewater to capturing carbon and decontaminating soil.
