Hello Contra Dioxido de carbono,
The following is the response to your request for assistance (reference #945260 ):
To begin your research, you should visit Citizenship and Immigration Canada's (CIC) Web site at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/menu-outside.asp . CIC is the department responsible for all information and applications for visas and work permits (immigrant, visitor, student, worker, refugee, etc.).
After you have a better understanding of the application process to come to Canada, you should then visit the Working in Canada (WiC) Web site. To do a search, follow these steps:
1. Go to the WiC Web site http://www.workingincanada.gc.ca
2. Under the “Explore Careers” section on the right hand side, choose the option: “ Occupation”
3. In the “Occupation” box, type: job title, keywords or the National Occupational Classification (NOC) code
4. In the “Location or Postal Code” box, type: name of city or postal code
5. Click “Search”
Then select the appropriate buttons in order to obtain information on the occupation of your choice: education and job requirements, outlook, wages, etc. or the main duties link (which you will find under the title and NOC code).
In addition, you may want to consult the “Before you Leave” section, in order to learn about some of the steps you can take before you arrive, to ease your transition to life in Canada. To succeed in this process, the key is to be prepared! You can begin your job search while outside of Canada by preparing a resume and cover letter and doing research on your occupation and different businesses in Canada. Please visit: http://www.workingincanada.gc.ca/content_pieces-eng.do?cid=721
You should also be aware that in Canada, it is the responsibility of each individual to find their own job as they know their skills, abilities and interests better than anyone else. The Working in Canada (WiC) Web site can assist you in being well prepared by providing information on how to develop a resume and cover letter and conduct a job search, including how to contact potential employers directly.
Therefore, to help you in your search for a job, we suggest you visit the “Other Job Sites” section of Canada's Job Bank at: http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/othsite-eng.aspx . You will obtain all the necessary information and instructions on how to contact these possible employers directly, in order to apply for a job (e.g. send résumé by fax or by mail). Please note that some employers will not provide an e-mail address because they do not wish individuals to apply electronically. You need to follow the instructions indicated by the employer.
Thank you,
